Police in Uganda have reported that Nigerian singer Omah Lay has been arrested. Also detained for violating COVID-19 protocols while performing at a concert held at Speke Resort on Saturday night.
A deputy spokesperson for the police, Kampala Metropolitan. Who also made this known in a tweet via his Twitter account on Sunday, said the singer was picked by Katwe Police along with Ivan Dungu, the venue manager, and Prim Kasana, the event manager.
However the police are yet to reveal charges against the Nigerian who could be attributed to a negligent act that could lead to a pandemic being transmitted.
Omah Lay, a Nigerian musician, was arrested by the Katwe police.
Dungu Ivan, the manager of venue one and Prim Kasana, the events manager, are also in custody.
